In the CDMA system , the conventional single-user related or matched filtering method , multiple access interference limits the system capacity . Previous studies have shown that using the interference cancellation of multi-user detection receiver able to significantly improve the capacity of the CDMA system . This paper studies the WCDMA communication system in the state-of-the-art multi-user interference cancellation technology , focused on the development of an effective and can achieve in practice technology ; subsequent analysis of the impact of multi-user detection for network planning . Firstly, several suboptimal multi-user detection technology analysis and comparison , comparing the results of multi-stage parallel interference cancellation is realized in practice multiple access interference cancellation technology , and good stability . In order to to reduce parallel interference cancellation within the judgment amount of statistics have a bias , improved parallel interference cancellation algorithm leads to a low complexity partial parallel interference cancellation algorithm , this algorithm can significantly improve system performance . Subsequently, the combined WCDMA system partial parallel interference cancellation of computer design and implementation of multi-user detection . In addition, multi-user detection system capacity and coverage of the impact analysis study . First derive the formula for covering the capacity of the CDMA cellular system is as follows , based on this analysis of the efficiency of the multi-user detection MUD receiver of a CDMA cellular system capacity and coverage .
