Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA) is a kind of distributed architecture brought forward by Object Management Group(OMG). CORBA, with Sun’ s enterprise JavaBean (EJB) and MicroSoft’ s COM/DCOM/MTS/COM+, makes up of three kinds of component models in server. In particular, CORBA Component Model (CCM) brought forward in December 2001, has more advantage to the other two component models in server in competition.This dissertation first researches the primary characteristic of CORBA then researches the CORBA Component Model which is latest brought forward and discusses CORBA’ s influence on traditional applicationdevelopment and implementation-making easier the developing thedistributed object. Then, From the view of the software engineering, it brings forward a design model adapting the CORBA system, and bases the actual design method, it dissertates how to integrate the objects designed by different programming languages, and implement the communication between the object of CORBA programming with C++, Java, Delphi language, according to a system of preconcerting ticket. At last, it dissertates the problem of the integration between the database and the technology of CORBA and how to establish the large appl ication system bases the technology of CORBA.
