A lot of research have been done to the expression patterns of canonical Wnt signaling pathway among the developing mouse tooth, and some significant roles have begun to be revealed. During this study, to explore the possible molecular mechanisms of canonical signaling pathway in human, we firstly examine the expression patterns of canonical Wnt signaling pathway, including LRP6, FRZB, SFRP5, APC,DVL2,TCF7, and compared with that found in mice. We also predict the interaction between these genes by examining the expression of the developing human tooth. However, it was also showed that slightly different expression patterns exist. For example, Frzb was not detected in the mouse tooth germ of El 5.5, but FRZB was expressed in the inner enamel epithelium in the human tooth germ.During the human tooth germ of bell stage, it can be detected that strong expression of APC,DVL2,and TCF7 in inner enamel epithelium, and the region of the expression are closed to.This result shows coherence to the close connection of three factors in cells, proving the continuous Wnt signaling in another point of view. The weak expression of receptor LRP6 and the strong expression of the antagonism reveal a obvious antagonistic action between them.
