In the paper, the thermo-economic efficiencies of gliding-pressure plant and constant-pressure plant are discussed in details. After nearly existing analysis theory of thermal systems are looked back briefly, their respective characteristics are summarized. According to energy balance of thermal systems, based on the Method of Equivalent Heat Drop, a mathematical model applied to thermo-economic comparison is builded.
