As a kind of plastic processing and moulding machines, plastic injection moulding machine plays an important role in the light industry. The machinery architecture and various performance parameters are tightly related to the quality of plastic products, the credit standing of the manufacturer and its market. Accurately acquiring all the performance parameters is not only the means of assessing machine quality, but also the base of improving machine architecture. The main disadvantages of manually testing these parameters are low data accuracy, low testing speed and complex testing operations. Using computer system to test these parameters can both overcome these disadvantages and feedback the test data to designers timely for analysis.This paper first briefly introduces the working mechanism of the plastic injection moulding machine, all the performance parameters and their testing methods, then expounds the thoughts and course of designing hardware and software system based on Object-Orientation method, finally analyzes the difficulties of constructing thus test system and proposes some suggestions of improving this test system.In the part of expounding the design of hardware system, this paper first concludes all the signals needed to test on the base of analysis of all the performance parameters of the plastic injection moulding machine and their testing methods. Then introduces the hardware architecture and the main characteristics of this test system, the selection of data acquisition devices and the computer. Finally measures for anti-jamming used in this system are explained.In the next part of expounding the design of software system, this paper first introduces the method of moulding software system using the Unified Moudling Language UML with some examples of user case chart, configuration chart and activity chart. The main section of this part fully explains the method of Object-Orientation software development, which includes Object-Orientation Analysis(OOA),Object-Orientation Design(OOD),Object-Orientation Programming(OOP),Object-Orientation Test(OOT).
