Conservation Tillage Effects on Water Use of 2 Phases Rotation Systems with Spring Wheat and Field Pea in Dryland

This article is semi-arid Loess Plateau Gansu hills typical areas - Dingxi Prefecture , on the basis of pre- trial research , 2002-2004 by conservation tillage conditions as early as spring wheat - peas sequence rotation test farmland soil moisture dynamics , Experimental study on yield and water use efficiency , the results show : 1, protection f Health , farming and traditional farming 0 - 2m soil water storage consistent seasonal variation and vertical trends . Conservation tillage tilling the soil , to use the NTS increase soil Xushuibaoshang ability to improve the 0 - 30cm soil layer storage capacity of 7.02 % to 24.29% . 3, NTS can increase soil water content of 0.53% -11.26 % . 4 different rotation order of soil water storage and water content . Two rotations , soil water storage volume increased 21.72% -30.36% 20.13% -30.92 % , respectively . The water content of the peas Qiancha rotation sequence were higher than CLL. 5 , conservation tillage combined with different rotation order to enhance the permeability of the soil and water seepage . Conservation tillage in the late growth stage can increase crop dry matter accumulation . The order of the rotation with peas Qiancha than the wheat Qiancha rotation sequence dry matter accumulation increased by 7.16% -54.05 % . 7, NTS can increase crop yield and water use efficiency . Increased by 30.28% and 40.08% , respectively, compared with conventional tillage .
