On the Translator’s Subjectivity in E-C Translation of Tourist Literature

Tourist literature is of distinct cultural and regional characteristics and strong purposes. The translator is obliged to generate the perfect tendering so as to realize the function of the source text by maximize his subjective initiative within the readers’acceptability. This article, through the author’s Chinese version of the publicity literature of Australia’s Northern territory, intends to illustrate the necessity of the translator’s subjectivity and the ways of exerting it in tourist literature.
