The paper introduced the typical American River Basin Water Quality Management the model - WARMF model as a research platform , select the Chaohu Lake ( one of the priorities of domestic \exploratory study of a series of non- point source pollution : 1) on the basis of analysis WARMF model principle and study area topography , soils, land use , and other characteristics of the basin into the 37 catchments , and geomorphological features merge grouping. 2 ) comparison the WARMF model and AVSWAT2000 of model principles . 3) the use of the 2000-2003 hydrological and water quality monitoring data checking and testing of the model parameters : WARMF Model model the phenomenon of the warm-up period , the warm-up period should not be involved in the checking and testing the effect of evaluation ; exclude preheat period ( 2000 ) , the model 's hydrology , sediment , water quality ( nitrogen - related water quality parameters ) fitting effect is reasonable . 4 ) comparison the WARMF model and AVSWAT2000 of model hydrological simulation results show that : The two models have better hydrological modeling results, the process of fitting but WARMF model better . 5 ) non - point source pollutants , SS, TN systems to study them in the the whole basin catchment into the river as well as the sub- basin and export load , get a load of non-point source in the share of the total load of Basin Water Pollution load constitute the proportion of non-point source , non- point source load and land-use type of relationship , the spatial and temporal variations of non- point source load of nitrogen fertilizer from entering the river into the lake rate . This paper can provide a reference for the theoretical study of the watershed non - point source pollution control and management , as well as the area or other domestic regional watershed non- point source pollution control management practices .
