Order to adapt to the needs of the market , the CNC system development toward open architecture , open CNC system and secondary development is another highlight of today 's CNC technology . Siemens SINUMERIK 840D CNC system provides a better platform for our secondary development . Secondary open CNC system functional modules also become inevitable , the machine manufacturer to own function module is integrated into the system , must be secondary development . The topics selected SINUMERIK 840D CNC system platform for the development of drilling and milling machine tools for the study and research in the Visual Basic environment , while taking advantage of the VC to create a dynamic link library , 840D CNC system communication . In which we use the VB interface design of man-machine interface , and using NCDDE server OEM software development kit provided in the program code language format NCK 840D CNC system , PLC access to data and access , monitoring and operation of CNC machine tools . The role of language dynamic link library is the call of the text , the text that appears in the interface can be read from the language dynamic link library . Class for drilling and milling machine , the interface design , communication , and the overall system structure of the program . The programming system with a friendly integrated system interface , the unique functional modules are integrated into the Siemens CNC system , the Chinese way interactive consulting in the computer environment , easy to operate. Finally , the paper also discusses the man-machine interface research and development direction for future research reference .
