In this paper, through the design of the intake air preheating system , a improved CA6110 diesel engine the ethanol fuel HCCI' dissertation">HCCI combustion test . Experimental studies have shown that the intake air temperature have a greater impact on ethanol fuel HCCI combustion . At constant engine speed and the excess air factor , as the intake air temperature increases , ethanol HCCI combustion ignition start point ahead of the combustion duration is shortened , CA50 position upwardly ending point close to the the exothermic combustion rate increases , the pressure rise rate increases, the the cylinder maximum combustion pressure rises , the combustion efficiency is increased , indicating increased efficiency . Directions efficiency decreased when the temperature rises further , the HCCI combustion of ethanol . The engine speed and intake air temperature is constant , with the excess air ratio lambda reduce burning fire start point ahead of the combustion duration shorter CA50 position ended up near the heat release rate increases , the pressure rise rate increases cylinder increases to the maximum combustion pressure , the combustion efficiency is increased , indicating increased efficiency .
