Throughout the Power Authority 's management of our counties Although most computer management , but the management system are the traditional computer -based relational database management system , due to its attribute data and graphics data out of line topology network structure and geographical distribution matching difficulties , increasingly unable to meet the increasingly complex development trend of rural power grids . GIS the ( Geographical Information System , Geographic Information System) technology in recent years gradually developed and widely used up to effective space features information management and analysis . Therefore, it is necessary to introduce GIS technology to achieve the image of rural distribution network , efficient , intuitive management . Although Component GIS has been applied to many other areas , China, however, has been put into the use of geographic information system of the distribution network , most of them are based on the traditional GIS development methodology developed , the system is large , poor portability , and other systems binding difficult, is not conducive to the multi-system integration . Component GIS development methodology places to solve these problems . The main distribution network analysis; geographic information systems and power system applications GIS analysis and research ; establishing a new distribution network database model for the structural properties of the distribution network , design and development of agriculture power GIS system , structure, function and the like. This study object is the component of geographic information systems and the combination of rural distribution network management system software . The network database to SQL Server 2000 as the back-end database to use MapX and MapInfo programming techniques to achieve the establishment and management of the system database , the use of the VB6.0 high-level object-oriented programming language developed as a front desk , to provide a good interactive interface , for electricity workers to provide convenient , fast , intuitive query and statistical functions , and to achieve a high degree of integration of graphics , data , analysis and management .
