In the mass expansion, the media diverse and complex communication environment of the context , the effect of ideological and political education is declining . Box office billions of movies, hit TV series , best-selling book , popular music , popular videos, hits one million blog culture consumer goods in the ever-present moment to change people's thinking , ideologies , values lifestyle through the mass exerts a subtle influence people's spiritual world and real life . The indifference of the political community , political attitude is unknown the value system disorders, entertainment speculation , network Pushing Hands fraud , network thugs phenomena of mass communication has failed to effectively play its ideological and political education function . In order to solve the negative issues of mass communication , mass communication effective ideological and political education , this article analyzed the ideological and political education function of mass communication and control . Combing the public dissemination of ideological and political education research based on five major controlling factors : the impact of mass communication play to the ideological and political education and political control , interest groups and economic domination , mass media self - control , audience control and moral control ; analysis of the impact of mass communication play to the ideological and political education : political message delivery failure , cultural security , lack of law , cultural production and economic benefits oriented , citizen information receiving and processing capabilities . Finally, through the development of e-government , insist on a firm ideology , improve relevant laws and regulations , pay attention to the reform of the cultural industry , to improve the citizen media literacy and a variety of ways to work together to strengthen and improve ideological and political education function of mass communication .
