Gastric cancer is the most common gastrointestinal malignancy , serious harm to people 's life and health , the impact of the social productive forces . Due to the effects of chemotherapy drugs , gastric cancer is still surgical excision , but after the five-year survival rate lower , and the lack of specificity of clinical manifestations , biochemical, immunological detection indicators , most diagnosed when already in the late already lose the best time of the surgical treatment . In the non-surgical treatment , the use of systemic chemotherapy , but poor efficacy and systemic toxicity . Activated carbon adsorption mitomycin intraperitoneal chemotherapy rise in recent years has opened up a new way for the treatment of advanced gastric cancer . Nano activated carbon having a high adsorption and function of sustained-release , lymph tendency partial retention of adhesion on the surface of the tumor , the adsorption mitomycin, by intraperitoneal administration can be achieved to improve the efficacy and reduce the systemic toxicity effect. Recent our laboratory developed nano- activated carbon (ACNP) has a small particle size ( nanometer average particle size of 299 ± 187 nm ) , morphological rules , a smooth surface on the body of the acute toxicity and local irritation were significantly lower with in the abdominal cavity exist three months can not cause inflammation of the advantages of improved earlier studies using activated carbon particle size ( micron ) , irregular shape , easy to cause local tissue adhesions and inflammation , the preparation process is not standard , the amount of adsorbent is no guarantee and prone to pollution such as inadequate. Convenient application of nano-scale preparation of activated carbon into dose standard injections , the clinical application of standardization to reduce adverse reactions . The intraperitoneal administration of nano- activated carbon adsorption mitomycin (ACNP-MMC) purpose is to change the mitomycin Biodistribution and pharmacokinetic characteristics , strengthen the role of local treatment , to reduce the systemic toxicity . So far not yet seen the reported pharmacokinetic data ACNP-MMC prime intraperitoneal administration . The available information is mostly clinicians conducting clinical efficacy trials conducted sporadic pharmacokinetic experiments . Due to the limitations of the human body and test cases based number , is difficult to obtain complete pharmacokinetic
