The purpose of the isolated perfused rabbit heart , rapid atrial pacing and acute atrial dilation can cause atrial electrophysiological changes in short - term reversible , performance decreased atrial effective refractory period (AERP) , physiological rate of loss of adaptability , atrial fibrillation (AF ) increased susceptibility . While different atrial pressure level AERP decreasing level is different, can be induced by the type of arrhythmia are also different. Short - term changes in electrophysiological atrial conduction velocity change various reports , including conduction slowing, unchanged or extended . Common in clinical practice center room expansion , especially in the left atrium , and atrial dilatation with rapid atrial arrhythmia often coexist , atrial enlargement , and rapid atrial arrhythmias may have an important role in the occurrence and maintenance of AF . Amiodarone as a class Ⅲ antiarrhythmic drugs widely used in clinical . Acute and chronic administration of amiodarone and its mechanism is different from acute given to inhibit Na Ca 2 < / sup> , K channel , chronic administration of action potential duration (APD), ERP extended. The test by the isolated rabbit heart model aimed acute biatrial expansion while giving rapid atrial pacing , electrophysiological indicators AERP, AERP dispersion , atrial activation sequence , excited about the time change , and AF induced of AF electrophysiological mechanisms , as well as the effectiveness of amiodarone antiarrhythmic electrophysiological basis to provide further theoretical basis for the treatment of AF . 28 white rabbits establish langendorff perfusion of the isolated rabbit heart model , atrial septal perforating, ligation of the pulmonary artery , a pulmonary vein and superior vena cava cannulation were used to measure the right and left atrial pressure , inferior vena cava cannulation by changing its height adjustment double atrial pressure .
