In today’s education, teachers professional development is the focus of attention, When both the concept of knowledge management and Web2.0 joined to this,they has brought us a new formula:Knowledge Management+Web2.0 Technology=Teacher Professional Development.That means,in the view of Knowledge Management, Web2.0 technologies can promote teacher professional development.Teacher professional development is the purpose,knowledge management is theory of thought,but Web2.0 technology is means of achieving.To prove this formula,the main part of the argument in this text is divided into two parts-the theoretical and practical aspects of both.The first part is to demonstrate on theory.Firstly,Author categorized web2.0 technology and teacher professional development under the perspective of knowledge management by analyzing constructivism,adult learning theory,knowledge management,teacher professional development and other basic theories and studying the previous studies,then built the process that web2.0 technology used in teacher professional development in the view of knowledge management.Secondly,The author pointed out that web2.0 technology can provide a variety of ways and strategies to help teachers in professional development,and described in detail the transform of teachers’practice knowledge, narrative,reflection,learning community of teachers and other professional development strategies based on Web2.0 technology.The second part of text is to prove on practice. Through the questionnaire,we understand the usage of web2.0 technology,the concept of knowledge management,current situation of the teachers’professional development,and draw a conclusion that Web2.0 technology can promote teacher professional development,and the key to teacher professional development is not the choice of technology but how to use that,when technology is used in the perspective of knowledge management,it will be brought into fullest play.At the last,the author built a network platform mainly using the web2.0 technology of blog and wiki for teacher professional development, and took this website as an example to illustrate how Web2.0 technologies can promote teacher professional development.
