USB-based image acquisition and CPLD signage system

This article thesis mainly discussed the development process and method of the system of label image captured. The hardware circuit based on USB bus and CPLD of the system of label image captured has been developed, including human-computer interaction interface.Generally, the whole hardware system is made up of two main parts: one is the data transferring based on USB and the other is the controlling of the the system of label image captured. The SRAM-CY7C1049BV33 is used as a bridge medium between these. CY7C1049BV33 has not only been used to store and transfer the data but also to realize the communication between the main processer and the subordinative ones.The whole syatem consists of the following four parts: video decoder, CPLD controlling, the module of he data transferring based on USB and the algorithms showing label image. At the part of the hardware circuit, according to the concrete commands of the thesis, the main chips of the circuit have been selected and the hardware connecting has been completed. The data transfer part consists of the hardware and the software. The core of this part is the USB interface chip-CH375.Choosing and controlling the working style of the chip is the emphasis of the thesis. The capturing and controlling part of the label image has completed by CPLD-EPM7128SLC84 produced by ALTERA, which has programmed with VHDL language,under the environment of MAX+plusII.At the part of the human-computer interaction interface, the storage format of the image-data has been made, then,the original image pels data captured has been stored and showm by the way of the BMP.After the whole design of the project, printed circuit board has been tested on the label printed by YP3-60 stamp printer and the satisfied results have been gotten..
