With the deepening of the country's western development, infrastructure construction is unprecedented warm, the highway industry without exception under construction climax. For highway design engineers, the design task is very arduous, drawing a huge amount of work, there is an urgent need to significantly improve the design efficiency of the CAD system software support. Highway design tasks, retaining walls as highway subgrade retaining structures, with distinctive features: low-tech, the drawing simple mechanical, drawing heavy workload. This situation forced the engineers into a simple mechanical drawing work all day and can not be freed, there is no more time to study the optimization of the highway route program. Therefore, the design is an urgent need for a low cost, easy to use, save labor, to improve the effectiveness of the design of retaining walls drawing software. Of this paper is to take this opportunity, this demand for the highway industry, a detailed study of retaining wall drawing system, using VC 6.0 and ObjectARX 2000 SDK tools, as a back-end database to Accees developed in AutoCAD 2000 ARX ??(AutoCAD Runtime eXtension) / 2002 environment running retaining wall drawing system (DTQ2005). Introduction part of this article in the first software system needs analysis of the origin and development of the road and its retaining walls of CAD, the prospects are discussed, to clarify the research background and significance; Secondly, the choice of development tools, features , function and basic method of developing applications, a detailed analysis; and then summarized retaining walls, abstracted from the retaining wall artificial drawing software implementation of methods and processes, the retaining wall of CAD realize the difficulty - retaining wall sections, and a problem-solving model; Finally, we study some of the key technology of the software system, source code and shows the retaining wall graphics system architecture and software process, in the conclusion of this research work are summarized and the direction and focus of the follow-up study of the subject. Retaining walls in CAD design of the content of the research on the highway industry is feasible, with respect to the previous traditional drawing, greatly improving the efficiency of labor. Practicality and low price of the software system, designed units and individual users have a very strong temptation to have excellent market prospects and development potential. In addition, through the study of the subject, I also hope the inspiration and Significance of the development of the construction industry in other structures of the same type, to achieve the purpose of better ideas.
