Deposition of immune complexes formed by the antigen-antibody reaction in the basement membrane zone of the transparent plate parts , which activate the classical pathway of complement , inducing a variety of inflammatory mediators , leading to structural damage and the formation of hemidesmosomes subepidermal blister . Glucocorticoid (glucocorticoid, GC) is the hypothalamic - pituitary - adrenal axis key molecules , in addition to important physiological role , also has a strong immune inhibition , is widely used in the clinical treatment of autoimmune diseases . GC is one of the drugs of choice for the treatment of BP , the GC role combined with intracytoplasmic common glucocorticoid receptor (glucocorticoid receptor, GR) play a role .
