Objective: ingredients exist in the majority of patients with bullous pemphigoid (bullous pemphigoid, BP) serum anti - basement membrane zone autoantibodies , immune electron microscopy showed that this antibody binds to the transparent plate in the basement membrane zone , therefore this disease kinds of autoimmune disease . The study found that BP circulating antibodies target antigen is located hemidesmosome bullous pemphigoid antigen 1 ( the BPAG1 , also known as BP230) and bullous pemphigoid antigen 2 ( BPAG2 , also known as BP180 ) . Deposition of immune complexes formed by the antigen-antibody reaction in the basement membrane zone of the transparent plate parts , which activate the classical pathway of complement , inducing a variety of inflammatory mediators , leading to structural damage and the formation of hemidesmosomes subepidermal blister . Glucocorticoid (glucocorticoid, GC) is the hypothalamic - pituitary - adrenal axis key molecules , in addition to important physiological role , also has a strong immune inhibition , is widely used in the clinical treatment of autoimmune diseases . GC is one of the drugs of choice for the treatment of BP , the GC role combined with intracytoplasmic common glucocorticoid receptor (glucocorticoid receptor, GR) play a role . Now the one hand gathered GC in the skin tissue , thus affecting the local inflammatory process that prevent complement activation affect neutrophils , lymphocytes , eosinophils recruitment to inhibit the production of proteolytic enzymes and cytokines .
