Research and application of Web-based push technology framework. It is chiefly done by the uses of a variety of currently existing mature technologies with Java at the core and the integration of Jetty, Struts2, Spring, DWR, Hibernate. XML is taken as the communication middle-ware of various technologies as well as the organizing language of con-figuration files of the whole system. They are integrated into a framework that is applicable in reality and can deploy and develop with a fast speed so as to guarantee the rapid realization of Web-based push technology. It’s outstanding features are to promote the development of Web-based push technology and to make up the insufficiency of Web applications in the real-time aspect through the development of push technology.During the research process of this thesis topic, firstly the technical feature analysis of the sub-technology needed by the framework is made and after the sub-technology feature analysis, the integration research task for the various sub-technologies is conducted, which mainly includes the integration of DWR, Struts2,Spring and Hibernate. Then the overall framework design and structure is conducted on the basis of the integra-tion research. After the framework design research, a practical application, namely real-time bulletin information system, is carried out to test the applicability of the web-based push technology framework, checking the performance and effects of the framework in the real application, finding and solving the problems in the practical application to further improve the framework. The ultimate goal is that in the practical application the web-based push technology framework can be adopted to facilitate de-ployment and development so that the push-technology-based business application system can save plenty of time and shorten development period in the designing and developing process. Hence the objective can be realized that the web-based push technology framework has a role to play in the practical application and is beneficial.The following achievements will be obtained with the closing of this thesis research:a new push technology framework with intact functions and clear levels will come into being; the development and application difficulty of web-based real-time push technology will be reduced; the goal to change the web real time insufficiency and promote the develop-ment of web-based push technology will be realized.
