The Current Teaching Situation of Chinese Poetry and Its Improving Strategies in Junior Middle School in PanYu Distirct

China is a big country of poem, with a long history of poem art. After the may-fourth new culture movement, Chinese literature came into a glorious new period, many excellent poets appeared and produced a lot of good writings, new poetry is an important part of middle school Chinese language teaching. Do well new poetry teaching can mold students’ good hearts, promote generation citizens’ quality, and develop students’ creative thinking, but the current situation of Chinese language teaching in junior middle school is not so optimistic. Therefore, according to the current situation of new poetry teaching, this paper tries to analyze the problems and its reasons existing in new poetry teaching in junior middle school of Panyu district, and find out appropriate improving strategies.The first chapter of this paper is the preface, presents the research situation of new poetry teaching. In the second chapter, through sending out teachers’ questionnaire and students’, and by talking with students, we comprehend the current situation of new poetry teaching in junior middle school of Panyu district. That is, some teachers give little attention to new poetry teaching; some students pay little attention to new poetry learning, the new poetry teaching materials are graded not so scientifically, the layout of resource books for teachers is not good enough, and the current situation of new poetry teaching and learning is not so good. And chapter 2 mostly analyzes the causes of the current situation of new poetry teaching, that is, some teachers’ new poetry quality is not good enough, some psychological characteristics of middle school students affect new poetry teaching, the features of new poetry itself restrict new poetry teaching and learning, high school and college entrance examination "chose the door" to new poetry, and fast-food culture in the society have effect. Chapter 3 looks into the improving strategies to improve the current situation of new poetry teaching and learning; that is, reorganizing the new poetry teaching material, reforming the examination type, strengthen junior middle school Chinese teachers’ specialization, establish appropriate learning situation fitting to middle school students’ psychological characteristics, applying situational teaching method; associated with the features of new poetry, building a stage for students to learn new poetry after class.The current situation of new poetry in this paper is taken from the questionnaires to some middle schools in Panyu district; the data is real and effective. This paper researches strategy combined students’ characteristics and new poetry’s features, making new poetry teaching method more perfect and more systematic. The application of the improving strategies applies theory to practice; it can improve the current situation of new poetry effectively and promote the development and advancement of Chinese teaching. Some good views in this paper have reference to teachers in other places or in other subjects, awaiting to be spread and using.
