As an essential branch of Chinese ancient essays which directly combines nature and human,ancient and modern society,the outside and a person’s inner world,the travel proses on scenery description are recognized as important resources of teaching to building up middle school students’ literary attainments on Chinese acquisition.In this essay,the accumulation of middle school students’ knowledge about humanistic geography,as well as the significance of cultivating their aesthetic taste and observing ability are elaborated.Besides,the author tries to find an efficient ways of teaching on Chinese ancient travel proses on scenery description according to the students’ actual situations.The essay consists of four parts.Part One briefly introduces the major development of ancient travel proses on scenery description and identify their style characteristics from four dimensions.They are travel notes,scenery description,feeling expression and aesthetic taste.In Part Two,the present situations of teaching about Chinese ancient travel proses on scenery description are mentioned by analyzing selecting teaching materials,learners and teachers’ teaching levels.In the third part,based on the analysis of the teaching materials, the author mainly tells the difference between travel proses on scenery description and other ancient essays from the aspects of geography knowledge,humanistic connotation,feeling expression and instructive significance,which makes the features of travel proses on scenery description much clearer.As for Part Four,the teaching strategies of Chinese ancient travel proses on scenery description are mainly elaborated.the accumulation of middle school students’ knowledge about humanistic geography,cultivating their aesthetic taste and observing as well as imaginary ability are all important elements Chinese teaching in middle school.The author also discusses and explores teaching methods on text reading.appreciation.practical application and so on.
