A Study of Digital Watermarking Algorithm on Halftone Images to Resist Hard-copy Attack

The demand for paper publication copyright authentication and protection of halftone digital watermarking algorithm and its resistance to the attack of the hard copy in the actual application process technology , digital watermarking algorithm effective against a hard copy attack . First halftone watermarking algorithm status quo analysis, pointed out the advantages and disadvantages of the existing algorithms , a halftone process embedded watermark algorithm based on convex optimization theory , experimental results show that the algorithm spatial and frequency domain attacks have a good robustness . Designed on the basis of the algorithm , a study was carried out on the model of typical hard copy equipment - printers and scanners , and using the PCL printer autonomous control work method , avoid the attack of the of printer internal processing of the image ; image correction method , effectively reducing attack of the scanner image spatial domain . Actual print scanning environment test , the design of the prototype system to achieve a certain degree of resistance to the attack of the hard copy device , able to extract the watermark information can be identified .
