Computer application continuously expands resulting from the rapid development of society and computer technology, computers have become an important tool for all walks of life to carry out routine works.Through analyzing the present situation and defect of management in drugs and reagents in our school, considering the actual school situation, this paper is to design and develop a more practical drug reagent management system. The efficiency of management of drugs and reagents can be improved by informationization, thus operators and users can know inventories and using of drugs accurately to optimize the purchasing, usage, preservation of medications. The principle of was observed to ensure the promotion of drug use efficiency to avoid wasting. Fully entering of information can be guaranteed by cooperation on the Internet, inventories of each department can be summarized. The principle of "first in, first out"was observed to ensure the promotion of drug use efficiency to avoid wasting.This system is based on C/S structure and DataSnap technology, using Sql Server 2005 as the Server database and Delphi as development tools. In addition, in the process of realization the system scalability, portability has been considered, methods as design patterns, three-layer structure, storage process, business, programming based on interface, etc are used.In conclusion, after application of this system, efficiency of information communication in teaching work has been improved, various problems in the past have been overcome. This system provides comprehensive information for school management and decision-making.
