SS7 is a common international standardization mature signaling system . It is widely used in the fixed-line program-controlled switches . Move the program-controlled switches . Signaling gateways and other equipment . With the development of the communications industry , the SS7 system is also applied to the terminal equipment and adaptive communication middleware ( Adaptive Communication Middleware) . This real-time stability of the 7th signaling components higher reliability . This paper begins with a brief description of the overall structure and composition of the SS7 system , and then through the functional part of the MTP . The detailed analysis of the composition and architecture , as well as the characteristics of the VxWorks operating system introduced . Discussed and achieve the MTP protocol stack based on VxWorks operating system . In detail on the basis of characteristic and related technologies of the VxWorks on MTP achieve the detailed design. The overall structural design first , to discuss the level of the three functions of the MTP , the analysis of the various levels of functionality to VxWorks - based implementations . Then the system framework design , analysis framework design facing reliability . Stability and maintainability problems , and to solve the problem according to the actual needs . Finally, the system functions discussed in detail , and discussed the development level of the system and the calling process . This paper focuses on the realization of various functions of the MTP level in the VxWorks operating system , including: 1 . Initial configuration file using XML format to describe the system , to improve the adaptability and scalability of the system ; 2 . Achieve VxWorks-based MTP each functional level ; 3 . MTP parts by OAM to real-time monitoring . Management ; 4 . Based the VxWorks memory management design and realize this is an innovative point of this article ; 5 . VxWorks-based MTP timer management and implementation; 6. VxWorks-based MTP various functional task management and scheduling ; 7 based on QMC the MTP link configuration and management, this is an innovative point of this topic is difficult . Presented in this paper based on VxWorks MTP protocol and functional design have all been implemented in the program , the system is currently running well .
