All-optical wavelength converter is a key device of the future all-optical communication and broadband networks , it is possible to improve the flexibility and scalability of wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) system , to overcome the switching node at wavelength contention caused network congestion problem , wavelength reuse, and the routing can be performed efficiently , and enhance the ability to adapt the network fault .
