In this paper, conventional ground meteorological observations in the spring of 2004, 2005 to May , dusty weather quantitative analysis , the distribution of regional characteristics of dust weather analysis , and based on the concentration of dust weather observations (visibility into concentration ) of sand and dust storms classification method , the results showed that : the Taklimakan Desert and the surrounding areas and the Korean Peninsula to the occurrence of dust weather , major dust concentration is 1000 of 6000μg m -3 range ; Mongolia region of the southeastern part of the region as well as the border with China occurs mainly sandstorms and strong sandstorms , dust weather occurs ratio is small, mainly the dust concentration ranges from 3000 to 9000μg m -3 ; Badan Jilin desert , Tengger desert and Mu Us sandy Land surrounding areas as well as northeast China 's Liaoning , Jilin and the northern part of the main blowing weather occurs , the occurrence of a strong sandstorm , smaller ratio of dust storms and dust weather the main dust concentration in the 1000 ~ 3000 μg m -3 the range of . The article also using March to May 2005, the dust numerical prediction model results and observations visibility into the dust concentration (TSP and PM of 10 < / sub> ) quantitative test for the numerical prediction of the 2005 dust concentration , show that both in a single station or across the forecast area , time of occurrence and intensity size mode of dust process has a better forecasting capability . Level of the model forecasts concentration of the model outputs dust concentration rational basis test mode dust weather quantitative classification of various dust weather ( strong dust storms , dust storms , blowing weather ) . General that forecast dust concentration in the order of grading standards : the forecast concentration of order of magnitude in the 10 5 ~ 10 6 μg m -3 10 4 ~ 10 5 μg m -3 blowing dust level in 10 3 ~ 10 4 μg m -3 . The relationship between the model forecast level of concentration of dust weather research and discussion , designed to provide some ideas and help for the the dust mode of inspection . This work is also to some extent the model predictions can be more intuitive , convenient for forecasting business .
