The Consideration of Humanized Design of Hotel

Pursuing a specific style and ideology has become a characteristic for the architecture design in the present pluralistic age where various cultures coexist. Various trends have become fashionable among the designers one by one. However, most of those design ideology concern the architecture entity more than the user entity;pursue the style delighting user’s eyes rather than the humanism. Hotels, resorts, and related buildings have also taken up the baptism of all theories, and sank into the "uproarious" design fashion. The demands of customer’s physical enjoyment have been satisfied and an emotional consumption era arrived. And the contemporary life style and ideology have created a profound affection to the constitution and layout of the hotel space environment, the humanity must be considered in the overall design of the hotel in order to enchant the customers, yet .the intuitionistic images do not strike root in the hearts of the people.Started from the basic conception of humanism, the ultimate demands of human being to the hotel are investigated by the author. Based on the investigation, this thesis presents an analysis to the humanism design of the hotel architecture concerning the space environment. Design philosophy and processing of the humanism space creation of the hotel architecture is discussed in this thesis according to multidisciplinary theory such as ergonomics and environmental psychology. The applicability of the philosophy derived in this thesis in the construction of the hotel architecture space is also evaluated. The evaluation is made by apprising the configuration and environmental effect of the Zhida hotel in Hu Ludao city.
