Trial-production of Ceramisite-reinforced Aerated Concrete Block and Experiment of Masonry Performance

According to the requirement of energy saving in building and the developing conditions of self thermal insulation wall material. we worked out a new self thermal insulation wall material, ceramisite-reinforced aerated concrete block, which major components are made of the excess cement plasma in making pipe pile, ceramisite and fly ash. By mixing high-performance complex blister and shrinkage-reducing agent, steam curing, we develop a new self thermal insulation wall material called ceramisite-reinforced aerated concrete block.In this paper, we select materials of brick properly. By studying the mix ratio of air-entraining agent , comparing the mix ratio of ceramisite and air-entraining agent and optimizing the mix ratio parameters of the new brick gradually. And the same time , we associate the physical and mechanical performances to determining the mixing ratio parameters of trail brick. The new bricking-up B07 class has high strength (the axial compressive strength 5.7MPa)、 less shrinkage ( drying shrinkage value 0.44mm/m), and well thermal insulating performance (coefficient of thermal conductivity 0.15w/m.k). By the SEM testing, we found that this kind of brick has good pore structure.And the same time ,we study the masonry performance of B07 class including the axial compressive strength, the Young’s modulus, the shear strength (along straight joint), the bending and tense strength (along straight joints or gear joints). Comparing the result of the masonry mechanical performances test with the calculation results by the empirical equations of three kinds of masonries in GB5003-2001, the mechanical performance of this masonry is very well. So these testing results can give reference to construction design of this masonry.For the more, we study the anchor and hanging performances of expansion bolt in the masonry. The results indicate that this kind of masonry can satisfy the requirements of anchor or hanging force in decoration of building.
