Dai middle school students’s educational needs value orientation is the awareness of the meaning that students receiving education and the importance of social significance on their own heart,is Internalized the values of education, with the practical character, the prominent role it is decided and dominated the value of student choice, it matter the quality of student learning and personal development. The research put forward theoretical ideas about Dai middle school students’s educational needs value orientation, the questionnaire used in Dehong prefecture in Yunnan national middle School conducted a survey of 260 middle school students, and analyzed samples of gender, tribe, culture, education level of parents, religious status and other factors. Summarizes the educational needs of Dai middle values features.The results show that:(1) Overall, Dai middle school students’s educational needs value orientation were shown positive trends in four dimensions, The scores in the order:Utilitarian purpose、Growth needs、Relationship needs、Altruistic dedication.(2) Gender was significantly different in the four dimensions of education needs value orientation, In addition to altruistic dedication outside dimensions, Basically the same for boys and girls scores, Girls scored significantly higher than male in other three dimensions, there was no significant difference in growth needs、relationship needs and altruistic dedication. On utilitarian purpose,Girls were significantly higher than boys.(3) Values in the educational needs of middle school students in four dimensions scores were greater than 3.5,it shows they are positive, however, There are differences in degree between Dai and Han students. From the point of view of each dimension, Han students in all student scores are higher than Dai, their highest scoring are utilitarian purpose orientation.(4) Parental education:Multiple comparisons revealed that Illiterate group is the lowest scores in Relationship needs, High school/college group pay attention to utilitarian purpose and relationship needs, College group needs the most attention and altruistic dedication to the growth, Group were college and high school/college are significant difference in growth needs、utilitarian purpose、altruistic dedication.(5) Relationship needs is the highest scores between religious group and the group of the needs of dubious, the lowest score is growth needs, utilitarian purpose is the highest scores between matter groups and non-religious group, the lowest score is altruistic dedication. Multi-religious situation of the comparison showed:there are significant difference in growth needs、utilitarian purpose、altruistic dedication between dubious group of religious and non-religious groups.(6) Guidance suggested:Increase investment in education、Enhance the concept of education of Dai people、Improve the three language skills of Dai student、Enhance the education value of middle school students.
